There is a new commercial airing which shows Santa giving Mrs. Claus a gift of jewelry. She opens the box and purrs, "Oh Nick, thank you!."

Little dog watched this and asked, "Who's Nick?"

"Santa Claus, " I replied, "Saint Nicholas."

"But Santa's name isn't Nick. It's Kris. You know, Kris Kringle."

Hmmmmmm.........

A friend of mine sent me this video and I had a lot of fun watching it and laughing at how many times I thought to myself, "I have one of those too!"   I so want to be in that room and play with those toys! Watching this video also made me really nostalgic for LD's childhood. My baby boy is pretty much all grown up now and will be going away to college in less than a year. It really really doesn't seem that long ago that our house was cluttered with Lego creations and action figures, and the back yard looked like a Little Tykes delivery truck had exploded over it. Of course there are still robots, dinosaurs, planetarium lights, wind up toys and crazy kitschy things in my house today. That's just a part of who I am. More Old CD Notes Unearthed

I've been cleaning out all my digital files and recently found a folder with all the Holiday CD notes and artwork.  It was kind of fun to look back on them all as a group. Below are some random liner notes, playlists, and cover photos. Liner notes from one of the first back in the 90s: Christmas really is about the baby, and not just the one in the manger  who started all this celebrating, but the baby that you once were; the one who  wouldn't  go to sleep because the anticipation of Santa was too much - Or the babies you raised and put to bed your self on Christmas Eve -  Or your now grown up babies -  Or your four legged fur babies - Or even the baby you plan to snuggle with after everyone else leaves (Or the one you at least want to catch under the mistletoe!)
